Media Kit (“we”, “our”, or “the App”) is a media management tool designed to help users organize, review, compress, and manage photos and videos on their iPhone. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use Media Kit.

1. Information We Access
Media Kit may request access to certain data on your device in order to provide its features.
Photos and Videos
With your permission, Media Kit may access your photo library to help you:
- Review similar or duplicate photos
- Review screenshots, blurred photos, Live Photos, and other media categories
- Compress selected videos
- Convert selected videos into Live Photos
- Organize photos and videos into travel or location-based albums
- Display media information such as file size, resolution, date, and media type
Media Kit does not access your photo library unless you grant permission through iOS.
Photo and Video Metadata
To support media organization features, Media Kit may process metadata stored with your photos and videos, such as:
- Creation date
- File size
- Resolution
- Media type
- Location metadata, if available and permitted by iOS
This information is used to group, sort, and display your media inside the App.
Device and App Information
We may collect limited technical information, such as:
- App version
- Device model
- iOS version
- Crash logs
- Performance diagnostics
- General usage events within the App
This information helps us improve stability, troubleshoot issues, and understand how users interact with the App.
2. How We Use Information
We use information only to provide and improve Media Kit’s features, including:
- Displaying your media library in organized categories
- Helping you review photos and videos before taking action
- Estimating potential space savings from selected media actions
- Compressing videos selected by you
- Creating Live Photos from videos selected by you
- Grouping media into travel albums based on available metadata
- Improving product performance and user experience
- Responding to customer support requests
3. On-Device Processing
Media Kit is designed to process media-related tasks on your device whenever possible.
Your photos and videos are not uploaded to our servers for media review, organization, compression, or Live Photo conversion. Media analysis and organization features are performed locally on your device unless we clearly inform you otherwise and obtain your permission.
4. User Control and Confirmation
Media Kit does not delete or modify your photos or videos without your confirmation.
Before any media item is removed, compressed, converted, or saved, the App will show relevant information and require user action. You remain in control of what you choose to review, keep, remove, compress, or convert.
Please note that deleted photos or videos may remain in the iOS “Recently Deleted” album for a period of time, depending on Apple’s system behavior. You may need to remove items from “Recently Deleted” to permanently delete them from your device.
5. Permissions
Media Kit may request the following permissions:
Photo Library Access
Required to display, organize, review, compress, and manage your photos and videos.
Limited Photo Access
If you choose limited photo access, Media Kit can only access the specific photos or videos you select. Some features may be limited unless full photo access is granted.
Location Metadata
Media Kit may use location metadata embedded in your photos and videos to create travel albums or media maps. We do not track your real-time location.

6. Subscriptions and Purchases
Media Kit may offer optional subscriptions or in-app purchases for premium features. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your full payment card information.
Subscription management, cancellation, billing, and refunds are handled by Apple. You can manage your subscription in your Apple ID settings.
7. Third-Party Services
We may use third-party services for analytics, crash reporting, app performance monitoring, advertising attribution, or customer support.
These services may process limited technical data, such as device information, app usage events, crash logs, or advertising identifiers where permitted by law and Apple policies.
We do not sell your personal photos or videos.
If we use third-party services, we require them to process data only for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy and in accordance with applicable laws.
8. Advertising and Tracking
If Media Kit uses advertising or attribution technologies, we will follow Apple’s App Tracking Transparency requirements where applicable.
If tracking permission is required, we will ask for your consent before tracking your activity across other companies’ apps or websites.
You may change your tracking preferences in iOS Settings.
9. Data Retention
Media processed locally on your device is not stored by us.
Technical data, analytics data, and customer support information may be retained only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
10. Children’s Privacy
Media Kit is not intended for children under the age required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete such information.
11. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed through the App. However, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
12. International Users
If you use Media Kit outside the country where our company is located, your information may be processed in other countries where our service providers operate. We take steps to protect information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.
